Monkey Man (2024) Movie Review
Dev Patel, the actor known for his Oscar-nominated performances, is stepping into the director's chair for the first time with his upcoming film, "Monkey Man." Patel's character embarks on a quest for revenge, engaging in fierce battles involving shootings, stabbings, and brutal confrontations. One particularly intense moment shows him ruthlessly stabbing a man through the neck while gripping a knife between his teeth.
Dev Patel not only stars in "Monkey Man" but also directs the film based on his original story and screenplay, co-written with Paul Angunawela and John Collee. Originally set for Netflix, the movie is now making its way to theaters through Monkeypaw's film deal with Universal.
