HOPELESS Movie Review

"HOPELESS runs for more than 2 hours, but don't expect it to drag. The movie is packed with action and emotional moments that keep you hooked. Meet Yeon Gyu, a 17-year-old facing a tough life without positive influences. He usually keeps to himself, lacking someone to turn to.

HOPELESS (2023) Movie Review

Despite a seemingly rocky relationship, Yeon Gyu's stepsister, Hayan, proves to be a reliable ally. Strong and fierce, Hayan is more than just a support character, making BIBI's role a standout on the big screen. Song Joong Ki takes on a raw and uncouth character, a departure from his recent classy roles. Hong Xa Bin's solid acting and intense emotions make you connect with his character.

While HOPELESS is one of the longer Korean films, it keeps you entertained with its fast pace. Chi Geon and Yeon Gyu's actions keep you questioning and empathizing. As the puzzle pieces come together, you wonder if Yeon Gyu will find his happy ending. Don't miss this action-packed thriller starring Hong Xa Bin, Song Joong Ki, and BIBI, playing in selected cinemas for a limited time only!
